Platform only. Dala is an online platform that introduces people booking skills to independent skills providers. Skills providers are not employees, agents or contractors of Dala. Dala does not perform, supervise or control any services and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, timing or outcome of any work.

Reviews and verification. Ratings, reviews and skill verifications are provided by users and reflect their own experiences. Identity checks are performed by independent third parties and confirm identity only — they are not background, criminal or competency checks. Users remain responsible for their own decisions, for checking qualifications where required by law, and for their own safety and property.

Disputes and liability. Any agreement for services is between the person booking and the independent skills provider. To the fullest extent permitted by law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Dala is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or claim arising from services arranged through the platform. Dala may assist with mediation at its discretion.

Safety. In an emergency, call 112 or SAPS on 10111. Suspected crime should be reported to SAPS; Dala co-operates with lawful requests from authorities.

Privacy. Personal information is processed in line with POPIA. See our Privacy notice. Use of Dala is subject to our terms, accepted when you create an account. Skills providers are responsible for their own tax obligations.
